Take a journey with us through West African culture as we explore the vivacious rhythms, high energy movement, and jewels of knowledge from various countries such as Nigeria, Guinea, and Burkina Faso. Sing to traditional African rhythms and tracks, learn oral and movement principles of Traditional and Contemporary African dance. The class will flow with an engaging body awareness warm-up, enriching movement vocabulary, some music exploration, and a jam session. We invite families and caretakers to participate in the fun!
