Inspired by her show Red Light Special: A Night Of Urban Burlesque®, Yaminah Legohn presents Red Light Special: Urban Burlesque Dance Workshop, a sensual dance class designed to help students embrace their femininity and sexuality. In this five week  performance workshop series, participants will  focus on themes of freedom of expression, self-love and the skills they gain in this workshop will help them become well rounded performers and dancers. The Red Light Special! series will offer a wonderful way to get intimate with your body, explore your sexuality and build self confidence through fierce, flirty choreography. Elevate your experience at home by wearing fun, flirty costumes and heels!

Students will be encouraged to participate in a culminating performance for Cumbe’s hybrid event fundraiser Feathers and Freedom by using tools learned in this workshop to create pre-recorded performance.
