Join us once again for the exciting chance to ignite your inner attitude with this special Flamenco workshop exploring Spanish rhythms of the African Diaspora. We're bringing back "Tangos Flamencos," an upbeat, energetic Flamenco palo (style of song in Spanish Flamenco), distinguished by a heavily accented rhythm. The African influences can be seen in the dance, particularly in the relaxed knees, freedom of the pelvis and hips and percussive use of the body. This workshop will include a brisk warm-up, technique exercises focused on building upper and lower body strength and developing musicality, exercises we’ll learn dance combinations. Olé!
