Sabar is a traditional dance from Senegal known for its syncopated jumping, turning and twisting and curving. This very physical dance will give you a great workout and make your heart healthy and happy! 

Visiting from Amsterdam, Moussa is one of the most exciting dancers of his generation; his students know him as an energetic and passionate teacher who really challenges everybody on their own level. He loves bringing people together.

Moussa NDIAYE is a young Senegalese dance teacher from the national ballet of Senegal, and now lives in Amsterdam. Coming from a griot family of musicians, dancers and storytellers, Moussa learned dancing at a very young age. He received professional training by his uncle Bane Ndiaye, Germaine Acogny at Ecole the Sable and Pape Moussa Sonko. In Senegal he danced with international artists such as Baaba Maal, Youssou N’dour and Abdou Guite Seck. 

Moussa is one of the most exciting dancers of his generation; his students know him as an energetic and passionate teacher who really challenges everybody on their own level. He loves bringing people together. and very good experience of teaching. He is the founder and organizer of the annual Sabar Challenge in Amsterdam.
