This class is designed to introduce Hip Hop culture through the element of dance. Beginning with a basic warm-up to stretch and tone the body, this class will challenge every dancer with the dynamics of movement and challenging combinations. In a non-competitive environment, we encourage individualized style while staying true to the technique.

Alora Tonielle Martinez is a professional dancer, choreographer and educator, born and raised in New York City. She first captured the stage at the age of eight, being a part of The Metropolitan Opera House where she danced, sang and acted. She's trained in numerous styles such as Hip Hop, Martha Graham technique, Voguing, African dance, etc. She became a part of the creative process and dancer for many shows such as "VH1 Love & Hip Hop," BET’s "106 & Park," NBC’s "America's Got Talent," Netflix’s "The Get Down" and many more. She is currently working with Ladies of Hip Hop under the guidance of TweetBoogie. She continues to share her passion and love for dance with all.
