In collaboration with Griot Circle Senior Center, Cumbe is presenting a monthly series of lectures on African Diaspora Dance. Sita Frederick hosts a conversation about Afro-Dominican Dance and Culture with special guests from the local NYC Afro-Dominican music and dance community. We will share stories about the rich legacy of black traditions in the Dominican Republic and inspiration from artists and activists who are lifting up our art and communities on the island and in the diaspora.
