Special Workshop
Donation – $10-25

Old way is the first Voguing style and is characterized by the formation of lines and precision in the execution of formations with graceful, fluid-like movement. This style of Vogue was developed by ballroom performers from the inspiration of male fashion poses. Imagine, someone is taking a photograph of you. How do you want to feel? What does this image say about you? To win in Old Way walks, it’s all about the energy you bring and striking that pose. Often, in this category you will see performers imitate high fashion models, militant stances, breakdance and even Egyptian hieroglyphs. Join this final workshop of the Elements of Vogue series to experience the beginning of this dance culture, to learn combinations and a dance phrase that will leave your body and arms feeling super strong.
