Cumbe is having its second annual  Carnival Celebration! We are closing out a month long series of dynamic carnival workshops with a party and showcase, celebrating the vibrant culture of the Caribbean and more. Through this series, we have traveled through the Caribbean and along the East Coast to New Orleans, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Brazil and Haiti to explore their varied traditions, music and dances that make up the African Diaspora’s carnival culture. Join us in our community of dancers, teachers and students to share in the beauty of carnival traditions. Fellowship with us with good music, refreshments and performances from our students and special guests.
